Liquid Penetrant

Liquid Penetrant Testing involves applying a liquid dye to the surface of a material. The dye penetrates any surface-breaking defects. After a specified dwell time, the excess dye is removed, and a developer is applied, drawing the dye out of defects and creating visible indications.
